A catalogue of books relating to the discovery and early history of North and South America, 1907: Vol. II, p. 921 [No. 401a] (Purchas his Pilgrimes; one of the fullest and most important collections of voyages and travels in the English language, a part of the third and all of the fourth volume being devoted to voyages to America. From 1613 on Purchas issued several editions of PURCHAS HIS PILGIRMAGE, or accounts of the religious world, which is AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT WORK, though it does include portions that relate to America. The fourth and best edition of Purchas his Pilgrimage, published in 1626, is often considered a fifth, or supplimentary volume to the four-volume Purchas his Pilgrimes published in 1625, though, as has been stated, it is in fact an entirely different work)
